Financial Expectations for Healing from Birth Participants
Thank you so much for choosing me to provide your childbirth education! I will strive to provide the highest quality of services to you as you’re preparing for the birth of your baby. As an independent and self-employed educator, it is necessary for me to lay out my expectations in regards to fees/payments. Please look over the following statements so that there are no misunderstandings.
- The retainer fee is required upon registration ($50/group; $100/private). This reserves your spot in the group class, reserves my time for private classes, and covers the cost of the comprehensive binder you’ll receive. The retainer goes toward the total class cost. It is non-refundable.
- The remaining balance for group or private classes is due at the 1st class. If you need to make other payment arrangements, please contact me and I will be happy to discuss it with you.
- I do not offer refunds. I will consider offering a partial refund for emergencies and serious situations only, and this will be evaluated on an individual basis.
- For Group Class Participants, I do not offer “pro-rated” class fees or refunds if you are not able to attend all 9 classes. Obviously there are circumstances where not every couple makes it to all 9 classes. If you and/or your partner have to miss any of the classes, I am more than happy to provide you with information that was missed, if you so choose. I will do this at no charge via email or phone. If you would like me come to your home and make up the class in person, my fee is $40. (Please note — several classes are very difficult to make up over email or phone.) If you miss the breastfeeding class and wish to make it up, you will need to make arrangements directly with Becca Marshall, CLC. Additional fees will apply.
